With signing day behind us and with UGA having 20 players in the books, it’s about time that we started to five into a bit more detail about the latest Georgia Football players. whereas before, these guys were recruits, who could still change their minds, now they have signed with Georgia and we can count on them coming to Athens.

Having started with 3 players that Georgia was linked to for a long time, we’re moving on to a very new recruit. Cade Mays wasn’t even on the radar for Georgia until about 6 weeks ago when he decommitted from Tennesee. As the nations number 2 tackle prospect, he suddenly had the entire nation coming after him. His decision to come to UGA and play with Sam Pittman was huge for Georgia. It gives them another huge prospect on the line as they continue to load up for the future.

So let’s take a look at Georgia’s big-time OL recruit. We’ll start by going back and looking at how exactly he found he way to Athens.
