With signing day behind us and with UGA having 20 players in the books, it’s about time that we started to five into a bit more detail about the latest Georgia Football players. whereas before, these guys were recruits, who could still change their minds, now they have signed with Georgia and we can count on them coming to Athens.

One of the things that makes this 2018 class so special is the way that UGA loaded up on talent. They didn’t stop chasing great players just because they had won a battle for someone similar. Kirby Smart didn’t rest on his QB laurels just because Jake Fromm is playing great. He went out and signed one of the best QB prospects Georgia has ever produced. UGA also did the same at running back.

Not comfortable with the number 1 running back in the nation in Zamir White, Smart and Dell McGee went after another. James Cook is Dalvin Cook’s younger brother and he’s a talent. He and White could end up having a similar partnership as Sony Michel and Nick Chubb when it’s all said and done. So let’s take a quick look at a player who would highlight a lot of other people’s recruiting class.
