How did he end up at UGA?

Tindall is a South Carolina native and for a long time, it looked like he would end up in a South Carolina School. Will Muschamp made him a top priority as he should have done. Tindall is one of the top 2 players in his state and for me, he’s the clearcut best. Wide Receiver Derion Kendrick is higher rated in some boards, but I like Tindall more. The guy just looks like he’s going to dominate on Saturdays.

South Carolina was the clear favorite for a long time. Clemson didn’t get in on Tindall until really late for some reason. They didn’t offer him until right at the end of October. That makes no sense to me. How Dabo could miss on a guy this talented in his own state is just bizarre. Maybe he thinks that Tindall isn’t a good fit for his system. Either way, to me, that’s a huge miss.

Muschamp, however, has been all over Tindall since he got to Columbia. SC was considered to be the landing spot for a while but Georgia has always been in there. Auburn came on strong as well because he was very close to their LB coach.

But UGA seemed to be the program making the strongest push in the end. Tindall was connecting well with UGA’s coaches and players and the Dawgs seem to have a clear plan for him. Roquan Smith’s success this year showed Tindall exactly what Kirby Smart can do with top-level ILBs. He committed to UGA at 8.30pm on December 20th and signed the following day.
