What type of player is he?

This might sound crazy because he’s a clear top 100 player, but I honestly think Tindall is underrated. I’m not saying he’s going to be just like Roquan Smith, that’s basically blasphemy, but he does have everything you look for in a top-level ILB.

Tindall is fast, explosive and he just seems to love hitting people. Watching his highlights, it’s like watching a man vs boys. Now the competition level in SC isn’t the same as here in Georgia. But Tindall takes on and beats everyone he comes up against and he makes the game look easy.

He’s also a really good pass rusher and I’m sure Kirby can’t wait to find ways to have him blitz in the future. We saw a few times with Roquan this year just how much that can unsettle opposition QBs.

What excites me most about Tindall is his sideline to sideline speed. It’s exceptional and he’s able to close down on almost any running back or QB with ease. That’s critical in this UGA scheme and it’s why Tindall was such an important signing for Kirby Smart. He loves players like this in his defense. They make it tick.

While big bodies clog the middle, UGA’s defense is so good because opponents cannot run outside. Tindall has the speed and tackling ability to fit in perfectly with this unit. He’s going to become a clear fan favorite when he eventually wins a spot.
