With signing day behind us and with UGA having 20 players in the books, it’s about time that we started to five into a bit more detail about the latest Georgia Football players. whereas before, these guys were recruits, who could still change their minds, now they have signed with Georgia and we can count on them coming to Athens.

Kearis Jackson is one of the most personable players on this list. He has been one of the main ‘pied piper’s’ of this group and has clearly worked hard to bring in other players. We’ll get into some of that later, but it’s important that we don’t ignore his value on the field because of how he worked off it.

Jackson is rated as the 23rd best receiver in the nation this year. He’s also the 119th overall player in the nation. Jackson has everything Kirby Smart and his offensive coaches are looking for from their slot receivers. But before we dive into the kind of player he is, let’s start by looking at how exactly he ended up in Athens.
