Georgia Football won a game for the ages at the Rose Bowl last night. Here are our performances of the game that sent UGA to Atlanta.

Awake yet Dawg fans? I have to imagine that quite a few Georgia Football fans are going to be sleeping in today. It’s pretty safe to say that we all had a very late night after Georgia won the Rose Bowl.

UGA’s 54-48 double-overtime victory over Oklahoma will go down in College Football history. It was one of the most exciting games in history in one of it’s biggest stages. It was the first time that any Playoff game has gone to overtime. No team had ever come back from 17 points down in the Rose Bowl until Georgia did just that.

In a game like this, UGA had many heroes. So many players went out there and gave their everything. A good number of them had moments that they will never forget. Dominick Sanders tied UGA’s interception record when he picked off Baker Mayfield. Jake Fromm played the best game of his life and never made a mistake. Jonathan Ledbetter was a constant warrior on the DL and pestered Mayfield throughout.

Rodrigo Blankenship pulled it together after missing his first field goal and hit a 55 yarder that gave UGA a shot going into halftime. Javon Wims made plays left and right, so did Terry Godwin and Mecole Hardman when needed. But as always, there will be some that we remember more than others from this game. So let’s take a look at those players who will forever be associated with this Georgia win.
