Georgia Football takes on Alabama on Monday in the biggest UGA game for 35 years. Here’s my quick preview of how the game could go.

Wow. The National Championship…… it’s real. The Georgia Football team is going to have a chance to win it all in their home state Monday night, but there is a strong tide waiting on the other side. The Alabama Crimson tide to be exact. It is the matchup that everyone in the south anticipated to go down in Atlanta on December 2nd. Instead, we get it January 8th for all the marbles.

These two teams are very similar and want to win the same way, which is pounding the ball and controlling the clock. Whoever can execute their game plan the best will win this football game.

Where Georgia has the edge is their leadership. A lot of seniors came back for the “revenge tour” and has played with a huge chip on their shoulder. For Georgia to win, the Seniors have got to lead and will UGA to victory.

Alabama has an edge in experience. They’ve been here three straight years. They know what it takes to get the job done and you best believe that Georgia will get nothing less than their best shot.

This game will come down to which quarterback plays better. Both teams have incredible defenses that stop the run well. So who has the edge at quarterback? My answer is Georgia. Jake Fromm is a better passer than Jalen Hurts. He looked confident and poised down the stretch against Oklahoma. If that Fromm shows up, I think Georgia will squeak out a victory.

Who wins?

Next: I wish Mama and Munson could be here for this.

This game is going to be a backyard brawl. It’s going to be a hard-hitting, physical game. In the end, though, I think Nick Chubb and Sony Michel find a way to click on offense late in the game to will the Dawgs to their first national title since 1980. I see a low scoring affair. Georgia 20 – Alabama 17
