When Georgia Football takes on Alabama tonight, a lot of us will be watching for the same big names, but here are 5 others who could decide the National Championship.

Well Dawg fans, it’s finally here. Today, Georgia Football plays for the National Championship against Alabama. If you’re feeling a bit funny right now, that’s totally ok. Our nerves were pretty much shredded during the Rose Bowl as well!

But this Georgia team still has one final game to go this season. What has been a magical year could end with a true storybook ending for this senior class. For that to happen, however, UGA is going to have to beat ‘the evil empire’ in Alabama.

The Crimson Tide have been here before. They’ve been here quite a lot actually. This will be Nick Saban’s 6th appearance in the national championship game at Alabama and so far, he’s 4 out of 5. That doesn’t mean that Georgia doesn’t stand a chance of course, but it does show exactly what the Dawgs are up against. This Alabama team knows how to win these games. The pressure doesn’t get to them.

If Georgia wins, they will shock the world. Look at the odds and the pundits, everyone is picking Bama right now. A lot of them are predicting a blowout. Now I disagree with that. While I think Bama are the favorites, I also believe that Georgia can win this game despite what a lot of pundits think.

For them to do that, however, they are going to need a lot of players to have great days. Now we all know the ‘big names’ that UGA will lean on. Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, Roquan Smith, Jake Fromm etc etc. But who are some of the lesser-known players who could end up deciding this game? Well here are 5 who could end up making the difference by the time that final whistle blows.
