Questions that need answers

Of course, there are some things that Georgia fans hope are addressed soon. First is the status of DeAndre Baker, Jonathan Ledbetter and Trenton Thompson. All have said that they’re leaning towards staying, but that’s not a definite answer.

Their status will affect how optimistic Georgia fans can be with the defense next year. Thompson and Ledbetter are great linemen who will be the leaders. They might stay because they know they will take on very important roles. Baker is a great, physical corner who can shut down receivers. He also has good hands for interceptions.

Zamir White

I know White was listed as something to be optimistic about, but he did tear his ACL just a couple of months ago. Will he be healthy enough to have an impact next year? Will he redshirt? Will he emerge late in the season? Who knows. Just keep an eye out for headlines with his name.

Jim Cheney

What’s Cheney’s status for next year. He certainly deserves some blame for the loss on Monday. He also seemed to only give Chubb and Michel the ball because he was obliged to. Plus, he’s not known as a guy who sticks around anywhere for long. He may just leave on his own.
