Georgia Football: Isaiah Wynn standing out at Senior Bowl
Georgia Football has one of its own standing out at the Senior Bowl this week. Isaiah Wynn seems to be really making a name for himself at Mobile and that’s good news for everyone.
Well, I did say keep your eye out for some Georgia Football players this week. And Isaiah Wynn has certainly not let us Dawg fans down so far. He came into this event as one of the higher rated offensive linemen in Mobile. He’s done a terrific job really showing just how good he could be at the next level.
That’s Wynn manhandling Da’Shawn Hand, a top rated DL from Alabama and former 5-star player. Hand never quite turned into the elite player that some expected coming out of high school, but the guy is going to play in the league. He has been one of the best defensive linemen there this week and Wynn gave him fits all day.
Wynn has kicked inside to guard for most of his reps. Despite having played really well at left tackle this season, his size profiles so much better inside in the NFL. His athletic ability means that he can pull out and block really well from there which pro teams really like.
GROWN. MAN. Wynn is looking like a player who could go in the first two rounds of the NFL. Nothing will speak higher of Sam Pittman’s ability to develop talent than that. Wynn was a good prospect, but he has turned into something else since Pittman arrived. Just think how good some of these new kids are going to get…
