Georgia Football: National Signing Day Predictions

Straight into an unpopular and boring decision from me. Sorry guys, but I still think that both Tramel Walthour and Jordan Davis sign for Georgia on Wednesday. I know that both of them are 3 star players. I know that a lot of Georgia fans want higher rated guys. But based off what I have seen, I don’t think either of these two is going anywhere else.

Walthour hasn’t visited any other school since September. His high school announced that he would be signing with Georgia at a ceremony on Wednesday. There seem to be lots of rumors flying around on forums that Walthour has issues with his grades and might not qualify for classes in the summer. I have no idea if those are even remotely accurate and I’m not going to engage in them. What is clear to me is that it looks like he has one of the spots on Wednesday, rumors be damned.

Davis is another player we haven’t heard much of anything since December. Again, I take that as a sign that he stays by his commitment. We’ve seen several 3-star players decommit since then and find their way to other schools. Davis hasn’t been looking around or talking to others. That again suggests that he’s been assured of his place by the staff.

I for one will be happy to see both of these guys sign on Wednesday. While neither is highly rated,  think both of them will make an impact at UGA. They are both very raw, but I love their film and I think both could be real finds.
