The Georgia Football team has a lot to celebrate at the moment. Not only did they enjoy one of their most successful seasons in a long time. But they also just secured the number one overall recruiting class according to all of the services.
Having signed 20 players back in December, the Dawgs received an extra 6 on National Signing Day. Having done a profile of everyone who signed early, it’s time to look at the new kids.
Otis Reese was the first player to ‘flip’ to UGA on signing day. A highly talented player out of Lee County, he had been committed to Michigan for some time. But his decision to come to UGA gives Kirby Smart a very versatile and talented player.
Reese is the definition of a ‘thumper’ in the secondary. That’s where he played for most of his high school career. But there is no guarantee that is going to be where Reese stays because of his size. That’s one of the reasons that there is so much excitement about Reese. Nobody is quite sure where he is going to play, but he will certainly fit in a lot of spots.
