The Georgia Football team has a lot to celebrate at the moment. Not only did they enjoy one of their most successful seasons in a long time. But they also just secured the number one overall recruiting class according to all of the services.

Having signed 20 players back in December, the Dawgs received an extra 6 on National Signing Day. Having done a profile of everyone who signed early, it’s time to look at the new kids.

Tommy Bush was the final player to sign for UGA in the 2018 class. With Georgia already sitting on 25 players, many fans were expecting him to stay in state and sign for a Texas school. But it looks like he remained a priority for UGA even as recruiting came to an end.

Bush is only the 2nd wide receiver that Georgia signed in the 2018 class. With a big frame and good speed, Bush is in many ways the template for what coaches look for from an outside receiver. That’s why he was considered a top 200 player by the recruiting services.

So let’s take a look at how exactly Bush ended up in Athens and what kind of player we can expect playing between the hedges.
