Georgia Football is back at Spring Camp. That means that there are plenty of players to keep an eye on who could have big roles in this 2018 team.

It’s about that time of year guys. Georgia Football is back in the building and they’re officially working out again. While it’s not real football, it’s a sign that we’re getting closer and closer to the spring game this April.

As I said last time, I’m pretty excited about that game this year. The group I’m looking at today is one that is absolutely stacked with young talent and needs to replace 3 starters. No unit was better for Georgia is 2017 that the linebacking corp. But with three guys probably heading to the NFL, its time for new blood.

D’Andre Walker and Walter Grant are the odds-on favourites to start at OLB this season. Walker is a senior and improved dramatically last year. Grant was a Freshman but beat out several others to earn playing time. His good play helped him see the field in every game and he looks like a potential stud at the position.

Natrez Patrick has his issues off the field. Those mistakes cost him a place on the team for playoffs and he was certainly missed against Alabama. Right now, however, it looks like he’s going to be back for his senior season. If he is, then he’s on his very last chance. Still, he will give UGA some experience in this group.

None of those guys is guaranteed to keep their job. That’s because there is some real talent that’s going to be pushing for time this spring. All of these guys are good enough to start outright and could show out at G-Day.
