Georgia Football is back at Spring Camp. That means that there are plenty of players to keep an eye on who could have big roles in this 2018 team.

It’s about that time of year guys. Georgia Football is back in the building and they’re officially working out again. While it’s not real football, it’s a sign that we’re getting closer and closer to the spring game this April.

Now it’s time to start looking at the offensive line. With Isaiah Wynn going pro, Georgia is losing its key captain from a unit that is much improved. Andrew Thomas really impressed as the right tackle in 2017. The freshman started every game and held down his spot really well. Despite the fact he had only been in the program since June, Thomas easily held his spot for the entire season.

That success means that Sam Pittman will move Thomas to left tackle this year. Thomas has the quick feet you look for from the guy playing that position so the move makes plenty of sense. This means that there is going to be a battle for the right tackle spot in 2018. There are really 3 clear candidates for the job right now. One of them could end up backing up Thomas on the left side if necessary.

You know what I love most about this video. The 2 or 3 seconds we get to see Isaiah Wilson and Cade Mays battle it out because that’s what we’re going to see in practice this year (they are the first pair). Two 5-star guys trying to beat each other every single day in a test of strength. Yeah, this position battle is going to be awesome.
