Georgia Football had it’s Pro Day and one of the best coaches in the NFL was paying particular attention to the linebacking corp.

Georgia Football had it’s pro day today. As expected, there were lots of top NFL brass on hand to watch them. Several head coaches were in town and one, in particular, was working out the linebacking group.

Bill Belichick has done well-getting players out of UGA recently. David Andrews and Malcolm Mitchell have both worked out rather well for the Patriots. They are one of many teams that could bring in a linebacker from Athens. So Belichick and his former defensive coordinator Matt Patricia worked out the linebacking group quite a lot. It’s pretty cool to watch these top coaches working with UGA players.

Speaking of fun to watch, the official UGA Twitter released a video of Lorenzo Carter showing off. I really do think he’s going to be one heck of a player at the next level. There really isn’t much that he can’t do on a football field.

Hopefully, we’ll see some details from scouts later this week about how everyone performed. We’re still waiting on the official times for all the different drills.

Next: Dawgs that need a big Pro Day

It’s never a bad thing when one of the best coaches in NFL history pays so much attention to your players. Rumour has it that there could be as many as 10 Bulldogs drafted in April. Hopefully, Belichick’s efforts were a sign of real interest for players like Davin Bellamy.
