The 2017 Georgia Football team is going to be sending plenty of its stars to the NFL and one of them is OL Isaiah Wynn.

What a difference a year makes! In 2017, Georgia went into the NFL draft with only one prospect who had a shot at being drafted. Just a year later, there’s a chance that UGA could end up seeing a record number of players drafted in a single year. I wouldn’t put it past the Dawgs to go in to double digits this class if a few things break their way.

All of this means that there is plenty for Dawg fans to get excited about. A lot of their former favorites are about to start their new careers. So to celebrate, we’re going to do a breakdown of each player who could end up getting drafted.

Much like the real draft, we’re going to be starting at the top of the class and working our way down. Having started with Roquan Smith, we’re now onto the next highest rated prospect, Isaiah Wynn.

How good was he in Athens?

Wynn surprised many including myself this past season. While he had moments during his sophomore year at left tackle, he spent most of 2016 at left guard. , therefore,e was not expecting a huge amount from him in his final season. Wynn was a player I actually thought might end up on the bench before the season ended. Shows how little I know!

Coming into the year, Wynn was one of the few offensive linemen Kirby Smart was comfortable with. He then proceeded to deliver one of the best seasons UGA fans have seen from an offensive tackle for some time. Wynn started every game for the team and ended up playing a key role in the running game.

Wynn was so impressive that he ended up being named a first-team All-SEC selection. He was also a second-team All-American selection. Those are impressive awards but they were richly deserved. Wynn really did play at an elite level in his final year in Athens.
