Could he be better in the pros?

Because he’s less than 6ft3, no teams seem to think that Wynn can play at tackle in the NFL. They do however love what they see at the guard position. Wynn carries 300lbs really well and has pretty exceptional short area quickness for an offensive lineman.

He also showed a great ability to use leverage to move opponents off the ball. Wynn is strong, but he’s also a fantastic technician and he’s constantly been able to beat guys who are bigger than him.

Wynn played left tackle for the Dawgs because he was clearly their best lineman last year. However, I agree with the scouts who want to move him inside. I really think that his quickness and ability are going to make him a real force at the next level. He’s also got quite a bit of nastiness to him when he’s taking on linemen. Wynn likes to finish blocks and keeps going until the whistle is blown.

If he ends up in a blocking scheme that uses those traits and lets him get out in space, I think Wynn could be a pro-bowler. He has all the traits that teams look from a big-time guard. More and more teams are starting to focus on pressure up the middle. That means that players like Wynn are becoming increasingly valuable.
