Dawn of the Dawg Draft prediction:

I have to confess that when it comes to the NFL, I have a soft spot for the Bengals. They have made a habit of picking up Dawgs and turning them into really good NFL players. I currently count 5 former dawgs on the team. All of them are contributors at least and two are absolute stars in AJ Green and Geno Atkins.

With Cordy Glenn now joining Clint Boling, imagine adding a 3rd Bulldog to the line. If they added Wynn, the Bengals could dramatically improve at OL. If this was to happen, that would be 3 DGD’s who had great careers in Athens all on the same line. How freaking awesome would that be?

The one issue here is that the Bengals also really need a center. If they were to look somewhere else then I still don’t think Wynn gets out of the first round unless some bad reports come back about his shoulder. Assuming that they don’t, then keep an eye on the hometown Atlanta Falcons. Yes I know, the current regime hasn’t exactly picked any Bulldogs recently. But Wynn is the perfect fit for the offensive scheme and would be a huge win for Matt Ryan.

No matter what, Dawg fans should get to see Wynn get his name called on the first day of the draft. It will be well deserved for a player who turned himself into a top-tier prospect at UGA and was a key leader on the 2017 team. He’s a major reason to watch the first round right until the end.
