With less than two weeks to go until the Georgia Football Spring Game, we’re doing a quick check in on the big stories so far.

It’s nearly G-Day! Well it’s like 12 days until G-day and that’s good enough for me. I for one never want spring practice to end and the monotony of no football summer to arrive. Thank god the Braves are decent this year!

But we still have football to look forward to this month. G-Day looks like it’s going to be pretty awesome this year. By all accounts, UGA is expecting a full house and has decided to basically ticket the event rather than just let people who up when they like. That’s a sign that we’re going to have a whole lot of people there.

But there is a lot that happens before G-Day. We’re getting to the point where coaches are looking to see players step up. With a lot of very good players heading to the NFL, there are still lots of jobs up for grabs.

With the bulk of UGA’s stellar 2018 recruiting class arriving in the Summer, now is the time for a lot of players currently on the roster. There have been lots of practices so far and a few story lines are starting to emerge. So let’s take a look at what’s standing out so far this spring and what to look out for at G-Day.
