UGA is probably set at QB for a while:

I’ll say this about Jake Fromm, the guys loves to compete. Having come in and pushed Jacob Eason last year, Fromm had a pretty great freshman season. It was so good tht he’s getting legit Heisman hype going into his sophomore year. Players like that don’t often find themselves getting pushed by Freshman.

But Kirby Smart only went out and signed Justin Fields, the nations top ranked QB. Fields is a unique talent, he’s as good throwing the ball as he is running it and in high school, he looked incredible. His early arrival has set up one of the best training camp battles in the nation. What’s most exciting is that both players seem to be thriving.

Every report says that Fromm is absolutely in control right now. After a great freshman year, he’s continuing to get better. His familiarity with the offense continues to grow and he looks to be getting better and better each practice. He’s also helping Fields after every rep, going over reads and teaching him how to get better.

Fields has flashed his potential. His arm is special and he’s already bigger than a lot of people expected. His speed and elusiveness are rare so he’s already showed that if he needs to, he can make a play himself. Learning from Fromm and competing with him is just going to make Fields better and vice versa. Fromm is the clear starter, but these guys are going to keep pushing each other. That’s the Kirby Smart way and it looks like it’s working petty well.
