2018 Draft Profiles for all Georgia Football players
Jeb Blazevich, TE
How good was he in Athens?
Blazevich came into Athens as a 4-star rated tight end and he made a big impact in his freshman season. He was named an All-SEC Freshman selection but after that, his production took a step back. When Issac Nauta arrived in 2016, Blazevich became more of a blocking tight end than a pass catcher. He only caught 2 passes in his final year.
That being said, Blazevich was a key leader for the offensive side of the ball. While he didn’t have the ball thrown his way very often, he was a key member of the team. He was also an important member of the community and was one of the more active members of the UGA team when it came to local events.
Could he be better in the pros?
Blazevich is limited athletically. He also didn’t benefit from the arrival of a highly polished player like Nauta in his junior season. Throughout all of the change he experienced during his time in Athens, Blazevich has remained a great team player.
I don’t know if can get better as a player at the next level. Although I do think that should he win a place on a roster, he could see the ball a bit more. UGA did not throw the ball much during his time in Athens. Should he end up on a roster, I think he could end up being more successful than he was at UGA.
Projected grade and landing spots:
I don’t think that Blazevich will be drafted. I think that he will likely be an undrafted free agent who ends up with a shot at a roster this training camp. He has a terrific attitude and has behaved like a professional throughout his college career.

Wherever he lands, look for Blazevich to push hard for a job when the season comes. Making a roster as a UDFA is not easy, but Blazevich has the work ethic and intangibles to make it happen. He’ll be worth keeping an eye on in training camp wherever he lands.
