Brandon Smith:

Last but not least is Smith who is probably the least likely pull right now for Georgia. UGA doesn’t have a huge presence in Virginia, especially with Shane Beamer now in Oklahoma. However, Smith is a player who has been on their radar for a very long time. Their interest in him will likely increase now that Pappoe has picked Auburn.

Smith is another great athlete. However, he’s considerably taller than the other guys on this list. He’s 6-4 and easily has the frame to be like Tremaine Edmunds, who was just drafted 17th overall by the Bills. On the tape, he’s that kind of player, a speedy LB with great range who can pretty much do it all.

This one might be a long shot for UGA, but they’ll take their chance. With two really good guys committed, Kirby Smart will swing for the fences and try and bring in a 5-star guy to complement them. Smith has all of the tools that Smart and his coaches would love. He’s probably the most fluid athlete of the bunch despite his height. That bodes well for his future on Saturdays.
