Robert Beal and Adam Anderson will get unleashed at some point:

Two players that will be breathing down Grants neck com June are Robert Beal and Adam Anderson. Both of those players will be freshmen in 2018 although Beal will have a red shirt under his belt. At some point, both were considered 5-star players.

Beal was very highly regarded before his high school senior season where he missed time having transferring back from IMG in Florida. That process caused him some issues with his transcripts and he arrived right at the end of the summer. Therefore he never really caught up to speed and spent 2017 learning much like Isaiah Wilson.

Anderson was a terror in 2017. He’s a long, explosive player who has a world of potential. He climbed his way up to the top overall outside linebacker in the country last season. If you want to see some dominant high school play, put on his tape against Justin Fields and Harrison last season. The guy is an elite talent that’s for sure.

From a pass rushing perspective, both of these guys could be special. Beal is thicker from a body perspective than Anderson, but he can be explosive and he was a handful at times on G-day. He gave Isaiah Wilson some problems and you can see him coming in on 3rd downs. The same could be said of Anderson who has terrific length and tremendous athleticism.

I don’t expect either to start this season, but to have 2 guys this good coming off the bench is kind of crazy. They will both see the field at some point and when they do, opposing QB’s had better watch out.
