Georgia Football: Chubb and Mayfield will be a ‘Hard Knocks’ storyline
Former Georgia Football great Nick Chubb and Baker Mayfield both got drafted by the Cleveland Browns. Expect the two rookies to be stars of this years ‘Hard Knocks’.
When Nick Chubb landed with the Cleveland Browns, a lot of Georgia Football fans sighed. Why would one of their favorite sons end up the NFL’s worst franchise? Surely not even Chubb would be able to turn around a team that has been a laughing stock since 1999.
Well, Chubb will be joined by his Rose Bowl opponent in Baker Mayfield who the Browns took number 1 overall. These two who battled it out in Pasadena will now work together to try and rescue the Browns. By the looks of it, they are taking that mission seriously. Any rivalries seem to have been buried in the past:
One reason why UGa fans should be happy about Chubb being on the Browns in Hard Knocks. The HBO show choose the Browns for this year’s training camp documentary. You can bet that Chubb and Mayfield will be a key focus for the film crew as two college stars looking to turn around the franchise.
I for one am pretty excited about this. Chubb and Mayfield have been roommates during rookie practices. I think that’s a pretty good thing because the two are going to need each other to succeed. They’ll also both need their offensive line to protect them.

I’ve always been a big Hard Knocks fan, but I’ve never been this excited for a series. I can’t wait for the rest of the nation to find out what us Dawg fans know about Nick Chubb. Watching him and Mayfield work their tails off should be must-watch TV for any football fan.
