Georgia Football is back in practice mode! The Dawgs with a lot of new freshmen in tow are working out hard with now that summer is here.

While Georgia Football fans are out enjoying the sun, it looks like their team will be working hard. The vast majority of the 2018 class has arrived and is in town. Tramel Walthour will be going to community college and will likely be a part of the 2019 class now. James Cook is expected to arrive later in the summer and the same is true with Nadab Joseph. Other than them, however, the whole of the nations number one 2018 recruiting class has arrived.

They have not received an easy welcome. As we saw last season, Kirby Smart isn’t the kind of coach that sees the summer as time off. His strength and conditioning team have started to get stuck into the team just like the did this time last year. That means some very long workouts for the new Dawgs.

As we saw with Isaiah Wilson last year, these workouts are going to test the new players. None of them will have gone through anything quite like this summer. UGA can claim to have one of the best strength and conditioning teams in the business and they are going to push these new players harder than they’ve ever been pushed before.

Next: 87 days until kickoff!

I for one am excited. There is so much young talent, especially on defense that could end up breaking through this season. It will be very interesting to see which ones are breaking through and impressing later this month.
