3. UGASports LIVE Podcast

Probably the longest podcast of the bunch, the UGA Sports LIVE podcast boasts something no other podcast has. A former UGA head football coach. Jim Donnan joined Jake Reuse and Radi Nabulsi before last season for this weekly podcast. Since arriving, he’s helped make it one of the most interesting and broad podcasts out there for Georgia fans.

Now you can say what you want about Donnan’s record at UGA. But at the end of the day, the guy has forgotten more about football than any of us will ever know. He won a Natty as a coordinator at Oklahoma and did a heck of a job at Marshall. He also coached a little-known guy called Kirby Smart when he was in Athens.

In short, Donnan knows his stuff. He also knows a lot more about whats going on in Athens than many others. He actually see’s training and talks to our coaches and if he can share things, he will. Also, if you like to listen to old recruiting and coaching war stories, he’s always good for one a podcast. That and he’ll definitely say ‘that guy makes my mouth water’ basically every week which never gets old.

Apart from Donnan, the podcast is still good. Reuse is very plugged into whats going on with recruiting and always gives a bit of info every week. Nabulsi has been covering UGA since before I was born by the sounds of it. All of these guys know their stuff and they put together a solid product every week.

As one of the more listened too podcasts, they have quite a few sponsors and they do talk a lot about them. That being said, it’s definitely worth it. These guys deliver about an hour of quality content every week, mostly releasing the podcast midweek.
