Georgia Football fans had a very enjoyable Sunday night when their team took a step towards the number one class in the country.

Not a bad way to end the week Dawg fans. The Georgia Football team revealed their new West End Stadium project to recruits on Saturday. On Sunday they received public commitments from not one, not two, but three top 250 players in the country.

Those commitments pushed UGA to number two in the country in the 247 rankings for the 2019 class. The Dawgs sit just a few points behind Alabama in those rankings and have four fewer players. In short, it’s safe to say that once again, UGA has a shot at bringing in the top-ranked recruiting class in the land.

Kirby Smart and his coaching staff are giving other SEC coaches fever sweats right now. No program outside of Alabama has recruited at the level that UGA is at the moment. The amount of talent that is flowing into Athens is creating a serious problem for a lot of rival head coaches. Even new hires like Dan Mullen are starting to get called out by their new fanbases. The poor guy hasn’t even coached a game and some fans want him gone.

If there’s one thing we know about Kirby, it’s that he’s hardly done yet. The Dawgs probably have 21/22 scholarships available this cycle. That means he’s got another 5-6 players that he can bring in and I wouldn’t be shocked if we see a couple more 5-stars jump on board. Speaking of which, how about we take a look at the latest 5-star who just committed to the Dawgs?
