Offensive Newcomer to watch:

Alistair:

I’ll let the other guys talk about skill players. Give me Isaiah Wilson, a redshirted freshman who is going to be starting at right tackle this year. Wilson is a monster of a human being, standing at 6ft7 and nearly 350lbs. That’s not fat either guys, he’s just built like a mountain. He’s going to be playing next to Ben Cleveland on the right side and I cannot wait to see the damage these two guys do. You can talk about D’Andre Swift and James Cook all you like. Those guys are going to gash teams because Cleveland and Wilson will throw around defensive linemen like they’re children. It’s going to be glorious.

Davis:

For me, there is a clear answer and it’s James Cook. He is the younger brother of Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook. He may be Georgia’s most versatile skill player according to reports from fall camp. He reminds me of Sony Michel but by all accounts, he’s the quicker and faster of the two. Expect him to provide a nice complement to D’Andre Swift in the running game while also utilizing his skills as a weapon out of the backfield. We could also see him as the quarterback in the “Wild Dawg” package.

Kyle:

I would have said James Cook last month, but I have to change it to Demetris Robertson. He’s got Terry Godwin’s skill set, just with more speed. He’s going to step into Javon Wims spot with no issues, despite being much shorter than Wims. His speed is the difference. This team has a few deep threats (Riley Ridley, Jeremiah Holloman), but Robertson is the best downfield.

Of course, I said he has Godwin’s skill set so expect him to mirror Godwin in many formations. He makes this offense much more difficult to defend. He’s the James Cook or the Justin Fields of the wide receiver position. Something else that is different and dynamic to prepare for.

Mike:

I’ve already mentioned this guy earlier. James Cook.  This kid is ridiculously fast and will be used as a multi-purpose offensive weapon. The younger brother of Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook will have plenty of opportunities in his freshman season to excel in the running game and the passing game. Look for a big year out of this kid.
