UGA is in for some very big names right now:

If you’re wondering why UGA might need some space in its 2019 class, there are a few good reasons. They start with some of the very highly ranked players that UGA is right in there with. The number of top 150 players that Georgia is heavily involved with is pretty crazy and we all saw last year how strongly Kirby Smart and his staff tend to close when we get to signing day.

Clay Webb is one of the best interior line prospects to come out of Alabama in years and yet UGA is currently considered favorites to land him. That’s even with all of the talent Georgia has there right now. Then there is Lewis Cine, one of the best safeties in America who is expected to choose UGA when he makes his decision next week.

Both Perry and Bertrand might also end up being recruited over at their specific spots. Tyrique Stevenson is one of the best CB’s in Florida and UGA is a front-runner for him right now. The same can also be said for Kaiir Elam, another Florida CB who is also a top 100 prospect. UGA brought in Tyson Campbell last year from Florida alongside David Wilson and could once again bring in two top CB’s from the sunshine state.

Then at inside linebacker, UGA has recruited really well this class. It already has commitments from Rian Davis and Trezman Marshall, two incredibly athletic players. It’s also still very much in the race for Nakobe Dean, the highest ranked ILB in this years class. Don’t forget about Owen Pappoe either. The Dawgs certainly haven’t and a signing day flip from Auburn is not off the cards.
