Georgia football dominated Vanderbilt to improve to 6-0 and 4-0 in the SEC. The Dawgs have won every game by more than two scores.

Dawgs on top again. Georgia football crushed Vanderbilt 41-13 with 560 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs achieved bowl eligibility for the 22nd-straight season. But more importantly, they’re 6-0 and they gave another loss to an SEC East rival.

Jake Fromm shredded the Vandy defense

Finally, Jake Fromm and the passing game was on the same page for more than just the second half. They started rough on Georgia’s first drive. Terry Godwin blocked instead of looking for a pass on a run-pass-option. He then dropped a pass on third down. But he made up for it with the only play on Georgia’s next drive. He caught a deep ball from Fromm and made a few defenders look silly for a 75-yard touchdown.

From there, the Dores couldn’t stop Fromm. He completed two passes on Georgia’s next touchdown drive. But his best pass was to Riley Ridley for a would-be touchdown. Instead, the defender interfered with Ridley, giving up the penalty instead of the touchdown. The Dawgs scores soon after.

Fromm got the ball back with just over two minutes left in the first half and he completed five of his six attempts to score one more touchdown before halftime. On the drive, three different receivers caught a pass. Fromm connected with Ridley for a fade in the end zone for the score.

He only completed three passes on Georgia’s first possession of the second half. But those plays totaled 69 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown pass to D’Andre Swift, who also made Vandy look silly in the open field.

Fromm’s night ended soon after. He finished the game with 17 completions on 23 attempts with three scores and 276 yards.
