Jake Fromm

The game hinges on Swift, but Jake Fromm can salvage the game with his own typical performance. Or he could perhaps do more than salvage the game, and excel in a possible shootout with Alabama’s offense.

Like Swift, Fromm has been at his best since the trip to Jacksonville. His completion percentage through Georgia’s first seven games was a really good 66-percent. But since then, his percentage has been a freaking crazy 73-percent. His interception totals through those seven games was really good as well, just four. In the final five however, he only tossed one pick.

He’s coming off a day against Georgia Tech where he completed 13 of his 16 passes for 175 yards and four touchdowns. If Fromm’s averages from the last five games hold true Saturday, the Dawgs have a good chance of leaving Atlanta with another SEC Championship.

Riley Ridley

Against Alabama last year, Riley Ridley nearly doubled his total number of catches of the 2017 season. He surprised everyone with a six-catch, 82-yard performance against the Tide. Ridley had a quiet career at that point outside of a five-catch day against Vandy in 2016, and the legendary moment he was robbed of against Tennessee.

Since his coming out party against Alabama, Ridley has a catch in every game. In fact, he’s averaging 2.8 catches per game. Ridley’s also averaging 37.5 yards and .66 touchdowns per game. He puts up those numbers because he’s Georgia’s best all-around receiver, capable of getting open and making catches on almost every route conceivable.
