D’Andre Walker

Scouting Report: Walker’s best attribute is his motor. He can be relentless when chasing a play down or chasing down the Quarterback. He’s a tough, hard-nosed, and gritty defender that is willing to do whatever is necessary to get his job done. He has solid burst and bend coming off the edge.

Walker does not have any glaring weaknesses, but he also does not have any incredible strengths either. He has shown that he will struggle against the run, and will have to do a better job of getting off blocks consistently. He doesn’t have an elite first step or burst off the line, but it is serviceable.

NFL Outlook: Walker could serve as a rotational pass rusher during his career. He doesn’t seem to have the body type to fit a 4-3 system, so he best projects as a 3-4 outside linebacker. He could have some value as a rotational pass rusher in a 3-4 defense.

NFL Comparison: Jarvis Jones

Draft Projection: Rounds 4-5
