The Georgia baseball team gave up 2.1 runs a game to the SEC’s premier offense to take two of three from the fourth ranked Commodores. These  Dawg’s days are only going to get better

The 2019 Georgia baseball team is undefeated on Sundays, blowing through the toughest part of the SEC season to a 9 – 3 record (27 – 6) without two front-line line pitchers and three starting position players. With already the best record in the SEC and four of the five injured players returning to the lineup over the next three weeks, this Big Red Machine looks headed for Omaha.

Against the fourth ranked Vanderbilt Commodores this past Sunday, Georgia produced that rarest of Sunday gems.  Tony Locey and Zac Kristofak pitched a one-hit one-run nine innings against the SEC’s premier offensive unit.

The Diamond Dawg Leather Company backed the pair with spectacularly flawless play in the field. When the Vanderbilt fielders provided an opportunity, the Dawg’s LJ Talley, Chaney Rogers, and Randy Jernigan got three of the Dawgs six hits to produce three runs and the win.
