Game of Thrones just wrapped up after eight incredible seasons. I thought it would be fun if we compared Georgia football players with the characters of Game of Thrones. Who would these players be in the show?
If you don’t know already, Game of Thrones is an HBO series adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s series of fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire.
It is set in the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, and the series has a ton of plots and twists and turns.
However, one of the greatest parts of the series is the character development and how you grow to love the multiple people in it.
From the main characters like Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Arya Stark, Cersei Lannister, Sansa Stark and of course Tyrion Lannister to the smallest roles like Lady Lyanna Mormont, the show knocks it out of the park with the character development.
Fans get to know these characters and see them grow through eight seasons.
Well, like so many actors, I feel like football players have these huge personalities that don’t always come out to the public.
I took players and a coach from the current Georgia roster and then compared them to their Game of Thrones counterpart. I took into effect, physical size, athletic ability, and honestly looking at their headshots and thinking how can I put you in Westeros.
Instead of being surprised, I will list the players and coach I used so you can try and guess the character comparison.
The players are Jake Fromm, Demetris Robertson, Ben Cleveland, Cade Mays, Isaiah Wilson, Stetson Bennett IV, Rodrigo Blankenship, Richard LeCounte and D’Andre Swift. And of course, I chose Kirby Smart as the coach.
