Georgia football already has its quarterback committed for the 2020 recruiting class, Carson Beck. Let’s take a look at what he brings to the table.

Carson Beck committed to play for Georgia football on March 3 as he picked the Bulldogs over Florida and other schools.

After signing a late quarterback addition in 2019, the Bulldogs wasted no time in 2020.

According to 247Sports, Beck ranks as the No. 76 overall, the No. 3 PRO QB, and the No. 9 prospect from Florida. He is also in the Elite 11 Finals.

Beck is 6-4.5 and 226 pounds from Jacksonville, Florida. When he made his decision, it was between Georgia and Florida.

If you look at Beck, he has nice height and size to him what you want your ideal pro-style quarterback size to be. He’s got a great arm and is an extremely accurate passer. This past season was his first as the starter.

Beck completed 209-of-356 passes for 3,546 yards  39 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

The Bulldogs have a good one with Beck, and he will fit in nicely to the already talented stable of quarterbacks Georgia has.

Georgia took more than one quarterback in the 2019 class, but I’m not sure that the Bulldogs will do the same in 2020.

Beck is a taller version of Jake Fromm and could potentially have a better arm than Fromm with the right development.

I mean in the first year of playing football, he wins Mr. Football in the state of Florida and his team to a state championship. Beck’s pretty talented. Not only did he win the title, but it was also in the highest classification in Florida.

One of the things I see he needs to work on is his long ball. Once he gets his long ball down, he could really make some noise on the football field.

Georgia has a diamond in the rough with Beck. He is slowly proving how good he is in a short amount of time and the Bulldogs have to feel better and better about him. I’m excited to see what Beck does in his senior season and even more excited to see him in Athens in January.
