While only hitting .268 in the ACC, the Seminoles rank fourth in the ACC and 24th nationally in homeruns. At the same time, FSU ranks next to last in official at bats, being choosy at the plate to rank second in the ACC in walks.

Emotion matters

Whether FSU can battle out of the Athens Regional will come down to determination and resilience.

The emotional high this team brings to Foley Field will put several miles per hour on the FSU fastballs, as well as several feet on the already long FSU longballs. It would be unwise to dismiss this tribe of Seminoles.
