Jake Fromm

Jake Fromm has improved in each of his first two years at Georgia.

He threw for 2625 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions as a freshman. Then he threw for 2761 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions his sophomore year.

Fromm completed 62.2% of his passes his freshman year and 67.4% in his sophomore year. I expect the same thing from him in his junior year

As a freshman, he led the Dawgs to a National Championship and as a sophomore, he won his 2nd straight SEC East title.

This year Fromm could very well take the next step and bring Georgia its first national championship in three decades. He is the leader of the team, not just the offense, the entire team. Where he goes they go, its that simple.

Fromm still gets called a “game manager” as if that is an insult. However, this is the reason Kirby Smart trusts him to run the offense. He is an elite game manager. Fromm manages the game plan, puts Georgia in a position to win, and takes care of the football.

All the characteristics you want to see in a quarterback and a leader.

Put all this together and Fromm is ready to go to another level. I’m predicting 3000+ yards, 30 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, and completion percentage around 70%.

I think Fromm is going to open some eyes this season. He lost three of his wide receivers from last year and his starting tight end. However, I expect him to show the doubters he is the real deal by not missing a beat without them.
