Jalin Conyers

Jalin Carter is a 4-star tight end from Gruver, Texas. He is 6-4 and 200 pounds. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 3 overall tight end and the No. 40 Texas prospect.

Conyers recently visited Georgia for the first time on May 30 and seemed to have a good time. A few days later, on June 4, he announced his top three schools on Twitter. His final three are Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Georgia.

Georgia must have done an excellent job on his visit to make it in this talented tight ends top three. However, if the Bulldogs are truly interested, then they will have to ward off Oklahoma as the Sooners seem to be in the lead for him.

In my opinion, of the four listed in this article, he is the least likely to sign with Georgia. I wanted to include him though, because the Dawgs did make his final three schools and seem to be trending upward after his visit.

There isn’t a set time on when he decides which could also be a factor in whether or not the Dawgs take him. I think that there are two to three guys ahead of him on the list, but he is a name to know, for now.

According to his 247Sports profile, in the 2018 season, he caught 61 passes for 1,225 yards and 19 touchdowns. Conyers also carried the ball 13 times for 135 yards and four scores.

He can be utilized all over the field. I like Conyers and think he could make a good addition to the team. Conyers’ got great hands and does a good job with his routes.

Like I said above, Conyers is a take if some other tight ends choose to go elsewhere. However, I could see him using one of his official visits to revisit Georgia.
