Kendall Milton

Milton is a 5-star running back from Clovis California. He is 6-2 and 220 pounds and is at the top of the Bulldogs most-wanted list.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 21 overall, the No. 3 running back and the No. 4 player in California. Milton released his top four on May 17 with LSU, Ohio State, Georgia, and Alabama making the cut.

He visited Ohio State for an unofficial visit on April 5 and back again for an official visit on May 31. Milton went to Alabama for an unofficial visit on April 16 and will go back for his official visit on June 21. He went to LSU for an official visit on June 7.

Milton is currently at Georgia on his official visit this weekend. He also made it to the Classic City on April 20.

He is one of the highest priorities for the Dawgs because Milton is a unique running back. There aren’t many guys that are his size that can do what he can on a football field. I  like to call him a Cadillac Bruiser because of his smoothness when he runs and his ability to run over a defender.

However, it’s his balance that is what so impressive along with his vision. Milton sees holes before they develop and reads the defense well. The one thing he should work on his catching the ball out of the backfield and in general. In his three years of high school, he has 22 catches for 289 yards and three scores.

As for running the ball though, he has 414 carries for 3,329 yards and 56 touchdowns.

I  like Georgia’s chances for a few reasons. Milton can come in and compete right away for early playing time as D’Andre Swift will likely leave after this season, and we still don’t know about Zamir White yet.

Milton fits the mold nicely, and the Dawgs could benefit from having this type of running backs. He’s special and fits the mold. Milton’s a humble guy as well. He doesn’t seem to into the hype, and he seems really smart in the classroom.

I  expect this weekend to go better than expected and leaving him with a lot to think about heading into his final OV weekend at Alabama.

While in the past that would worry me, it doesn’t with this running back. I  think that this weekend shows Milton everything he needs to see and it wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t silently commit to the Dawgs and go to T-town for obligation reasons.

Milton, in my opinion, is one of the two running backs Georgia takes for the 2020 class.
