Tank Bigsby

Tank Bigsby is a 4-star running back from Hogansville, Georgia who is 5-11.5 and 206 pounds. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 50 overall, the No. 8 running back and the No. 7 prospects in Georgia.

The battle for this running back seems to be between South Carolina and Georgia. However, in my opinion, Bigsby is the No. 3 running back on the list for the Bulldogs.

On his 247Sports profile, he recorded a 4.50 40-yard dash. Bigsby is a quick yet aggressive running back. He knows how to get yardage and is so explosive on the field.

Last season, he toted the rock 238 times for 2,221 yards and 22 touchdowns. Bigsby also made 14 catches for 217 yards.

He is another that needs to work on catching the ball out of the backfield. As for his running, I  like how he makes guys miss. Bigsby is strong and fun to watch and could earn a fifth star if he has a dominant senior year.

This weekend, Bigsby’s on an official visit to South Carolina putting him in Columbia six different times since January. He also visited on January 26 for Junior Day, Feb. 16, March 22, March 30 and April 27.

Before his OV to South Carolina, he stopped by Auburn on June 12. In my opinion, with Marshawn Lloyd committing to the Gamecocks, Bigsby could start looking for another SEC school with Auburn being one of the top ones.

The last time Bigsby was in Athens was for G-Day. If the Bulldogs want to make him a priority, then they need to get him on campus again. However, I think that the Dawgs will go another direction unless one of the top-2 backs choose another school over Georgia.

For now, I don’t think we see him in Georgia’s 2020 class. I’ll predict Bigsby to either Auburn or South Carolina, but don’t count out Georgia if some things fall into place to land him.
