Mo Smith Pick Six:

The first call on this list came from Maurice Smith on his pick-six against the Auburn Tigers back in Kirby Smart’s first year as a head coach.

Smith chose to transfer from Alabama to Georgia when Smart took the job and boy did he make an impact directly.

This pick-six helped the Bulldogs eventually beat Auburn 13-7, as it was also the Dawgs only touchdown of the game, it also finally woke up Georgia’s team.

At this moment in the game, Georgia fell behind Auburn 7-0 when Tiger quarterback Sean White dropped back, and Smith read the play from start to finish.

He jumped the route, snagged the ball, and the rest was history. This play sparked the Bulldogs to finish the game strong.

“3rd down and 10 for the Tigers from their 25, snap to White he will throw. It is intercepted! Mo Smith got it at the 32, Mo Smith to the 25, near sideline 15, he’s got blockers, 5 endzone, TOUCHDOWN! TOUCHDOWN! Smith with a pick six!”

The excitement in Scott Howard’s voice and how he calls it tells you exactly what any fan needs to know. Where they are, who caught it and he was just excited enough to let you know how big that call was for that game.
