Mecole Hardman’s 2nd TD vs. Mizzou in 2017

Georgia hosted Missouri and blew out the Tigers 53-28. Mecole Hardman scored on the Dawgs first touchdown, and this call was the final score of the game to put it out of reach from Missouri.

While the two teams went back and forth in the first half, Georgia eventually ran away with it.

Georgia started this drive on its own nine-yard line and went to work. Nick Chubb carried it on first down. Brian Herrien caught a pass for a yard. On third and eight Fromm completed a pass to Terry Godwin for 28 yards.

Fromm and the offense converted two third downs to get to this play.

“Fromm in the shotgun, Swift in the backfield. Missouri brings the blitz, Fromm will throw, wide open on the left side of the field is Mecole Hardman at the Missouri 45 to the 40 to the 35 to the 30, they won’t catch him 20-15-10-5 TOUCHDOWN MECOLE HARDMAN! Take that and stick it in your helmet!”

Howard had a  great one-liner with the ‘take that and stick it in your helmet.’ In other words, take that Missouri and enjoy watching Hardman run it past you the next couple years.

It was one of the first times we saw Hardman shine and how good of a receiver he would be for the Dawgs.
