Paris Johnson Jr.
The long shot on this list is Paris Johnson Jr. because he’s already an Ohio State commit. Now I’m not saying Sam Pittman cannot flip him because we’ve seen him flip guys in previous classes.
However, I believe its a long shot at this point in the recruiting cycle. If you asked me about him three months ago, I would say its a high chance to flip him, but not I don’t get that feeling as much.
Johnson Jr. is an offensive tackle that is 6-7 and 290 pounds. He committed to the Buckeyes almost a year ago on June 28, 2018.
According to 247Sports composite rankings, Johnson Jr. is a 5-star and ranks as the No. 8 overall, the No. 1 OT and the No. 1 player in Ohio.
He has been busy this spring and summer. Johnson Jr. visited Tennessee’s Junior Day on Jan. 26. Then he went to Georgia Tech on Jan. 27 for an unofficial visit.
Johnson Jr. revisited Tennessee for an unofficial visit on March 15, then went to Georgia for an unofficial visit on March 17. Alabama and LSU got unofficial visits on March 22 from the 5-star.
He took his official visit to Georgia on April 19, LSU on May 24, and Ohio State on June 21. While I don’t see him flipping at this point, never count out Georgia and Pittman.
At this point, I feel like he sticks with the Buckeyes and stays loyal to his commitment.
These are three guys that Georgia has high on its offensive line board and two of them, in my opinion, will end up in the Bulldogs 2020 recruiting class. Those two commitments could come sooner than later.
