#3: Warren McClendon’s commitment

On July 16, 2018, Warren McClendon committed to the Bulldogs giving them yet another talented offensive linemen.

He picked the Bulldogs over the Gamecocks where his cousin Brian McClendon coaches the offense. For a long time, Georgia fans didn’t know if McClendon would choose to stay home and be a Bulldog or break the tradition and head to Columbia.

While it was huge to keep McClendon at home, Sam Pittman’s video made it that much better.

As you can see, Pittman is holding up his English Bulldog, Lucy, who had on her own Georgia shirt. It’s the first time we see the bulldog in a commitment video, and it makes my list because you can’t help but love Lucy.

He says in the video, “Me and Lucy think it’s a great day to say, Go Dawgs! Yesssss sirrrrrrrr” and while he’s saying it, he’s gently shaking her with excitement.

While it’s a happy time for Pittman for landing a Georgia legacy, Lucy the bulldog could care less, which makes it that much cuter. She is like, ‘Great dad you got another commitment, now put me down so I can go back to napping.’

If it were up to me, I  would love to see Lucy in every video because who doesn’t love an English bulldog.

However, it’s his third best video because it was one of the first dominos to fall that led to a No. 2 overall 2019 recruiting class and bigger dominos came causing some of the best content from Pittman.
