Over the years, Georgia football players have thanked their moms in various ways once they sign their NFL contracts. However, I think Deandre Baker topped them all.

Former Georgia football player Deandre Baker thanked his mother in style, and her reaction is priceless.

He posted the video on Instagram, and it ended up on Twitter and has around 567 thousand views.

That’s one big I love you mom from Baker.

In the other video on his Instagram, you can hear him going we in there, stop crying, fix your makeup and all his mom can do is cry tears of joy, and show emotion.

The caption is probably my favorite part. “I told mama we straight… Remember we use to be in a Nissan… Watched her struggle and sacrifice to make sure I’m straight… Now it’s my turn to take care of her.”

He’s taking care of her now like she did when he was younger. Baker is from Miami, Fla., and played at Northwestern High School before coming to Georgia, and then a first-round draft pick. Now, he’s a New York Giant.

According to a Spotrac, on June 14 Baker signed a four-year, $10,525,716 contract with the Giants, including a $5,675,064 signing bonus. He will get $9,007,390 guaranteed and will have an average annual salary of $2,631,429.

After signing that bonus, it only took 12 days for him to thank his mother. I personally love that he got his mom a Bentley. He earned that money and should spend it on her and take care of her.

Baker could earn some playing time this upcoming season, and it’s going to be exciting to see how he does in New York. Georgia will miss him in the red and black this season, but we, here at Dawn of the Dawg, wish him the best in his NFL career and he will go down as a ‘Damn Good Dawg.’
