Georgia football made the shortlist for 5-star cornerback Kelee Ringo after he announced who the final five schools are on Twitter.

One of Georgia football’s top targets for the 2020 class is Kelee Ringo. He is a 5-star cornerback from Arizona.

On June 27, he released his final four schools on Twitter. The top-five schools for Ringo are Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Ohio State, and Texas.

Georgia defensive back coach, Charlton Warren is attempting to lock down his first full recruiting class at Georgia after the Bulldogs hired him last year after the early signing period.

Warrens trying to lock down a top cornerback duo in 2020 with Ringo and Kimber and seems to be on the right track.

The Bulldogs are also coming off having its first Jim Thorpe Award winner last season. Deandre Baker took home the trophy and with his video giving his mom a car, shows Ringo what could be his future at the University of Georgia.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 9 overall, No. 1 CB and the No. 1 prospect in Arizona. The site also has him ranked as the No. 176 all-time recruit.

I included him in my 2020 class prediction and will not take him out until he signs with any other school other than Georgia. The Bulldogs got him on campus for the scavenger hunt weekend and two other times this spring.

It appears to be between Georgia and Texas at the top as they both have 43 percent advantage on his crystal ball predictions. However, since his visit to Athens for the scavenger hunt with his mom, three experts put in Georgia for their predictions.

Keither Niebuhr from the Auburn site gave him one on May 21, and Andrew Ellis from Ohio State put in one for Georgia to land him on June 24.

While he has a top-5, I don’t think it’s much of a conversation. I expect Ringo to take a visit to Georgia, and if it goes as it should, he could pull the trigger and commit to the Dawgs.
