The Twenty-first century is nearly old enough to vote, and it’s time decide it’s top five Georgia football quarterbacks.

The old saw, “The quarterback gets too much of the blame and too much of the glory” may have been true in the Twentieth Century. In the Twenty-first Century, the quarterback is the most important player on the field. Georgia football has been blessed with some good ones.

Here are the top five Georgia football quarterbacks of the Twenty-first century

Number Five: Jake Fromm

Everyone expects Jake Fromm to be the best quarterback to play for Georgia by the time he leaves Athens. His career is already filled with Glory! Glory! moments – an opening day battlefield promotion, a comeback win in South Bend, an SEC Championship, and a College Football Championship semi-finals comeback. Last minute fails to Alabama cast Fromm as the foil to the opposition heroes, and Dawg fans expect those tables to be turned this season.

Fromm has the numbers, his game passes the eyeball test, and he brought the swagger with him from Warner-Robbins. He’s already a TV star. We’ll adjust his ranking up after this season.

Way up.
