Georgia football 2020 commit Justin Robinson was the first receiver to join the 2020 class. We take a look at what he brings to the table.

The first wideout that committed to Georgia football’s 2020 class was Justin Robinson, a 3-star from Mcdonough.

Robinson is a 6-4 200-pound wideout that committed to the Dawgs on March 2, 2019 while on an unofficial visit. He was one of the first along with 5-star offensive lineman, Broderick Jones.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 64 wide receiver and the No. 37 prospect in Georgia.

I like his size so much. Robinson is an under the radar guy that I think can be great.

More from Dawn of the Dawg

While he may be a three star, I think that’s because he plays for Eagles Landing Christian Academy, a private 1A school. Even if it’s a 1A school, the Eagles can rock out on a football field.

Robinson is one of the biggest guys on the field. So I want to see him against similar caliber guys besides the 1A talent he plays against.

He is one of those guys that make a 1A team look incredible, and he’s done that with Eagles Landing. Robinson physically is a mismatch and can be at the next level too.

With a little development, I think Robinson could make some noise. I love his size and his routes always look so smooth. One thing he can work on is his ability to fake out defenders.

He could work on every aspect of his game, and Cortez Hankton will do that, but Robinson’s a good solid player.

According to his Hudl, he was First Team All-State with 750 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

Robinson can make his defender miss and he has good skills. I’m excited to get him on campus and get him fine-tuned. In my opinion, he will be one of those guys that compete hard and earn his spot on the field.

He also plays both sides of the ball so he understands how to make guys miss while seeing what the defenders trying to do.

Robinson is going to be fun to watch in the next few years. He’s coming in at a good time to make some noise and earn some playing time, however, he’s got some competition, but at the same time, I think he competes with them.

I feel like a lot of people are overlooking him while they shouldn’t. If he has a big year, a 4th star is possible, but at the same time, he can be another 3-star the Dawgs develop into something special.

Robinson has a good start and I’m ready for Hankton to get his hands on him.

dark. Next. This isn’t the Georgia Bulldogs: An apology to Vols, Pat Summit family

Georgia currently has the No. 6 overall class and the No. 3 SEC class for the 2020 class. The Bulldogs have a 92.71 average rating per commit.
