Georgia football’s 2020 class barely sits out of the top-5 right now with 14 members, but how long will it stay like that before the Dawgs make another jump? Here is my month class prediction and when I expect some guys to commit to the ‘G.’

Georgia football got one weekend this month to entertain recruits and the Dawgs should make the most out of it.

In June, the Dawgs picked up five commitments. Those five pickups were 4-star defensive tackle Warren Brinson, four-star offensive tackle Joshua Braun, four-star wideout Marcus Rosemy, 3-star wideout Corey Wrenn, and 3-star kicker Jared Zirkel.

According to 247Sports team rankings, the Dawgs currently have the No. 6 overall class and the No. 3 SEC class. Georgia has an average ranking of 92.74 per commit.

Georgia currently has one quarterback, no running backs, three wide receivers, no tight ends, three offensive linemen, four defensive linemen, one linebacker, one defensive back and one kicker.

It’s time for Georgia football to bring back the black jerseys. light. Trending

In the last month a lot of the way the class should shape up to be changed. The Dawgs could add another wideout, one or two more offensive linemen, one or two more defensive linemen. Last month I wouldn’t have thought that about the offensive or defensive line.

I still believe that Jamil Burroughs doesn’t end up with this class. I also think that the Dawgs are opting to take more in the trenches than at the linebacker or defensive back position becuase there is a ton of depth at those positions right now.

The extra wideout doesn’t surprise me because we all know the Jeremiah Holloman situation.

With that being said here are my offensive and defensive class prediction update for July. You’ll see the changes from June’s prediction and who I think could take those spots.

I give a 1 out of 3 ranking for confidence that uncommitted prosepcts will commit to the Dawgs. Three means that I’m very confident and anything lower is in between confidence or very little at all.

**All the below rankings are according to 247Sports Composite rankings for the 2020 class**

Defense

Georgia’s 2020 defensive recruiting is something that has changed in the past month. The emphasis seems to be on getting a huge defensive line class, and I’m not upset with that at all.

Three Games Georgia Football cannot overlook in 2019. dark. Next

Georgia’s recruiting class should change before the end of July with at least one commitment, but after this weekend’s event, there could be another prospect to pull the trigger.

Fall camp is almost here, but the Dawgs won’t get another chance to see recruits until the end of August. So this event was crucial and who the Dawgs had on campus excites me and I cannot wait to see how the rest of this class shapes up and finishes.
